Animal Encounters Wildlife Control provides nuisance wildlife control services to homeowners, businesses and municipalities.

Once we’ve determined the problem we’ll work to create plan to safely remove the animals and their young &  prevent reentry. After inspection is complete, we will create a customized wildlife management plan that might include removal, exclusion, or a repellant. Additionally, we seal off any possible entrances that may could lead to unwanted visitors.

Depending on your unique wildlife problem, removal might include

Trapping Nuisance Wildlife

Professional animal trappers will know what type of trap to use, how to bait them,   where to place them,  and how often to check them. 

• Raccoons — Live trapping is the most effective and humane way to remove a raccoon. Raccoon trapping requires a sturdy trap. Cage and box traps are preferable to foothold traps.
• Opossums — Opossums can easily be trapped with a cage, box, body-gripping, or foothold traps.
• Skunks — Skunks can be captured with cage or box traps.
• Birds — Occasionally, live traps will be used, especially if flocks of birds are involved.

For other species like bats, we are not allowed to legally trap them. Trapping is ineffective for squirrels and some other species as well.
